Lovely, but hot walking to and from the beach

Positive : Amazing views. Balcony was great, inside a bit smaller than expected, but fine. Air conditioning in bedrooms was a godsend in the heat wave (40C). Negative : Location was mis described - it is not 500m from the beach. It is up a very steep hill, and so the wiggling walking distance is about 1000m, but climbing 100m up a very steep hill. If you hire a car, it may not be an issue, but we had chosen location to have relaxed holiday with no need of car, and in the 40C heat, the walk to and from the beach was a big negative. So check carefully if this location suits you. Also washing machine didn't work - not the end of the world, but would have been good.

The apartment was fine, all basic things were there, but the terrace was outstanding. It is in fact possible to walk on the veranda from the front to the side and the backside of the apartment (all connected), it provides a great view and has a good breeze! Made our stay very nice. It is quite a walk uphill from 400 m to reach the apartment. If you are fit, no problem. If not, a car can be helpful.
