Had an excellent stay here. Jules, our host picked us up from Fort de France, and drove us to his home. He had prepared a delicious lunch for us, and that set the tone for the rest of the stay: a man of great kindness, hospitality and generosity, and nothing was too much trouble. My wife speaks fluent French, which facilitated the communication, but any misunderstandings which may arise will never be due to lack of effort. The apartment was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. A little off the beaten track perhaps, but there is a little shop close by to get the milk, eggs, baguette for breakfast etc. Would definitely stay again!

We were welcomed like royalty by Evelyne and Jules, with kindness and thoughtfulness. Jules prepared creole meals for us and was always attentive to our well-being even when the water was occasionally (briefly) taken by the water company. Being in the heights away from the overly touristy spots allowed us to appreciate the authenticity of Martinique even more. The pool is great. The separation of the 2 bedrooms by the main room is a plus. Thanks again to Jules and Evelyne for their hospitality. Excellent memory! Véronique, Christian, Josiane, Jean-Marc
